My primary subject is the human figure. This body of work, painted in New York, depicts subjects in pleasure-seeking activities. This includes series showing painters and models, practicing musicians, and art students copying sculpture, plus an early subway station work. Though I have been painting for professionally for a long time, I remain an avid student: my passion is for Dutch and Northern Italian Baroque painting.
